A few weeks ago I hosted an Ovaltine Awesome Wholesome Backyard Party for a few of my friends and family. We decided to celebrate summer, along with the new and improved Ovaline –with no artificial flavors or colors!
To kick off the BBQ (we had hot dogs, potato salad and apple pie) we did a taste test with the three flavors of Ovaltine; Rich Chocolate, Chocolate Malt and Classic Malt.

My mom loved the Classic Malt. My daughter loves all the flavors of Ovaltine, so she had no preference. I enjoy the Chocolate Malt myself. I served Rich Chocolate to all the other guests.
Our party started off a little rainy, but once it cleared up, we played outside with some of the outdoor toys Ovaltine sent us.
We had a lot of awesome, wholesome fun! And everyone went home with their own canister of Ovaltine.
As part of the Ovaltine party, I was given the opportunity to donate $250 on behalf of Ovaltine to the non-profit summer camp of my choice from JustGive.org. I chose Camp Good Councel, a summer camp that I went to when I was in my early teens. I still have found memories of summer camp, and one year I even went on a scholarship. I am happy to be able to give back to a non-profit that assisted me at one time.
Summer is wrapping up quickly, but there is still time to have your own Awesome Wholesome Backyard Party with Ovaltine!
