Now that summer is officially here, one of my favorite Fresh From Florida veggies is in abundance and ready to grill— Sweet Corn!
During the summer months, we fire up the grill at least 1-2 times per week, grilling up anything and everything we can think of. Fresh from Florida Sweet Corn is always a crowd pleaser because it can be served with a variety of toppings. Honestly, Florida Sweet Corn doesn't need any extras like butter or cheese because it tastes fantastic on it's own— but we like to dress our sweet corn up and make it the focus of a meal, rather than just a side.
One of our newest discoveries from the Fresh from Florida website is a recipe for Cheddar Bacon Florida Sweet Corn — I didn't even have to try this recipe to know that my family would go nuts for it, but I did, and now it will be a staple in our summer grilling schedule!

Florida has so many wonderful fresh commodities that it would be crazy not to take advantage of them. In addition to sweet corn, my family loves Fresh from Florida watermelon, blueberries and tomatoes. You can't beat our seafood either!
