Why Let Kids Play with Slime?
Slime is a great sensory activity for kids. It's also a lot of fun! Playing with slime can help kids develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Plus, it's just plain old satisfying to squish, stretch, and mold slime.
What Makes Cherry ICEE Slime "ICEE"?
This Cherry ICEE Slime gets its name from the special ingredient that gives it a realistic ICEE look and feel - fake snow! Clear glue makes the slime translucent, and then the addition of the fake snow gives it that unique "crunchy" texture, just like an ICEE.
What Else Can You Add to Slime?
The sky's the limit when it comes to customizing your slime. Get creative and add in some glitter , food coloring, or even small toys. Just be sure to test out your additions in a small batch before you add them to the whole recipe.
How Long Does Slime Last?
Properly stored in an airtight container, this slime will last for several weeks. However, we recommend that you make it fresh when you're ready to play. It's just better fresh, trust me. LOL!
How Do You Store Slime?
You can store your slime in an airtight container or zip-top bag. We like these plastic containers because they have screw-on lids that keep the slime from drying out.
How Do You Clean Up After Playing with Slime?
Slime is pretty easy to clean up. We like to use old rags or paper towels to wipe up any messes. You can also vacuum it up if you're really worried about getting it everywhere. If you want an even easier cleanup, try playing with your slime on a silicone mat . The slime won't stick to the mat.
This particular slime, because of the addition of fake snow, has a tendency to drop little bits of the fake snow flakes all over the place, but those can likewise be just vacuumed up or wiped away.
