I am so excited to announce that I will be blogging live from Mardi Gras in New Orleans from February 13th-16th, 2010!
What make this so unique is that I will be chronicling my experience on www.MyMardiGrasExperience.com from a family perspective. While Mardi Gras is mostly associated with drunken college students and other debauchery, there is a family side that is rarely seen.
My husband and 5 year old daughter will be joining me as we hit the parades, enjoy the local cuisine and experience some of the other traditions of Mardi Gras.
While my husband experienced Mardi Gras in college, I have not. This will be the first visit to New Orleans for both my daughter and I. I also think it will make a unique experience for my husband, who can compare his previous visit to now, coming back as a Dad. Do I see a guest post coming from Daddy Musings?รย ๐
Even though we don’t arrive until the 13th, there is a host of other bloggers sharing their experiences now at My Mardi Gras Experience. You can also find us on twitter @MyMardiGras.
