The countdown can officially begin, 4 days until kindergarten!
Tonight we will attend the school’s open house and meet the teachers. I am both excited and scared. You just never know the type of parents you’ll meet at these things, and this whole school is new to us. I just hope my daughter likes her teacher and possibly knows some of the kids from preschool.
The first day of school is next week and I do feel unprepared even though we have all the supplies, uniforms, backpack, and lunch box ready.
As I mentioned before I am not scared of leaving her…I need the break, but more so sad she is getting so big and growing up on me. I guess this officially marks the end of my stay at home mom days? Or are you still a stay at home mom if your kid(s) are in school?
The only thing I am not sure if I can adjust easily to is getting up at 7:30am each morning! I am not a morning person.

Update: the school is really nice, and the parents are kind of snobby.
