Sadly, the D23 Expo has come to an end, but it looks like it was wrapped up nicely with a few more celebrities and the unveiling of some new Disney Consumer Products. I have my heart set on the new Kidada Wish-a-littles!
Two years separated the first and second D23 Expo; if that's any indication, the next one should be in 2013. I will mark my calendar as soon as the date is released-- I don't want to miss it again!
Here are the highlights from Day 3--
Day 3– Sunday, August 21
Wilmer Valderrama stopped by to meet with fans of the multicultural Disney Junior series, Handy Manny.
Marvel Comics with Joe Quesada took fans through the evolution of Marvel – from its first comic book in 1939 to its current position as one of the most important creative forces of the world. Hosted by Joe Quesada, Marvel’s chief creative officer and one of the most respected and sought-after writers and artists in the entertainment industry.
The Disney Fashion Show at D23 Expo was filled with young celebrity guests from Disney Channel's hit buddy comedy series Shake It Up including Bella Thorne (CeCe) and Zendaya (Rocky).
The fashions included D-Signed Shake It Up line available exclusively at Target stores nationwide and Target.com; stylish Shake It Up-inspired footwear at Payless ShoeSource stores nationwide and Payless.com; plus chic athletic clothes from ivivva athletica that are coming this spring to ivivva.com.
