Let’s talk about date nights with your spouse or significant other. When’s the last time that you went out — just the two of you?
I honestly can’t remember the last time my husband and I had an real, honest-to-goodness date. Our issue isn’t so much time, but lack of childcare. It takes a real effort to find someone reliable to watch our daughter while we go out for a few hours. So instead, we just bring her along with us — but that’s not very romantic, is it?
Outback Steakhouse is on a mission to help couples steak out more time for one another by declaring itself the Official Sponsor of Date Night and offering a special weekend deal they canรขโฌโขt refuse.
Though this weekend, November 16, Outback Steakhouse is offering a classic Date Night Meal for two forรย just $38. Here’s everything that it includes:
- A Bloomin Onionรยฎ to share
- Two 8 oz. Outback Specialรยฎ Sirloins
- Choice of Freshly Made Side & Signature Salad (per person)
- A Classic Cheesecake dessert to share
- Or, have your Date Night Meal with two 6oz. filets or one 8oz. sirloin and one 6 oz. filet. Ask your server for details.
- Plus, relax and un-wine-d with $10 off select bottles of vino
Rick and I decided to take advantage of this offer last weekend while our daughter spent some time at a friend’s house. Outback has long been one of our favorite casual restaurants for a good meal, and this offer was just too good to pass up. Here’s a peek at our date night at Outback.
Everything was sooo good! We devoured our Bloomin’ Onion before I had a chance to take a picture and we ended up taking home the cheesecake because we were so full… our daughter enjoyed it later! It was great to spend some alone time with my husband while enjoying a great meal. I only hope we can continue these date nights in the future!
How long has it been since your last date night?
