Question: Do you clean your oven before or after all of your holiday cooking? If you said after … what are you waiting for!? I, too, used to fear cleaning my oven. It was an event that I only tackled once or twice a year (I know, gross!). I was put off by the time it took, the smell of the cleaner and the amount gunk I let buildup over time. That was before I discovered EASY-OFF® Fume Free Oven Cleaner.
I’ve found that when I use EASY-OFF® Fume Free, cleaning the oven becomes less of a chore because you can clean your oven at your own pace. From spot cleaning for heavy use day-to-day (think holiday cooking!) to an overnight treatment that’s easy to wipe away in the morning, EASY-OFF takes care of whatever mess you put at it.
I know I’ve had my fair share of nightmare clean-up stories, which sadly happened before I started using EASY-OFF. The worst has to be the time I made a homemade pizza with a little too many toppings. I didn't use a pizza pan because I like a crispier crust, and instead put the pie directly on the oven rack. The dough (which was fresh) couldn't handle the weight of the sauce, cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni, and, as you can imagine, fell through the grates onto the bottom of the oven. IT WAS A MESS! If I had used EASY-OFF, the mess would have been A LOT easier to handle.
While I won’t be baking a pizza without a pan anytime soon, I am using my oven a lot more now that the holidays are approaching. Some of the heartier dishes I’ve made include casseroles, baked lasagnas and cheesy side dishes, which all wreak havoc on a clean oven. To get a head start on Thanksgiving, I decided to get in one last oven cleaning before the big cooking day. With EASY-OFF in hand, I thoroughly sprayed my cold oven at the end of the day and let sit overnight.
In the morning, I simply wiped the grease away with a damp cloth and some paper towels. Total time? Maybe 10 minutes (which included spraying EASY-OFF in the oven the night before!). The whole process was completely FUME-FREE … neither my husband nor daughter had a clue I was cleaning the oven!
Now that I have a clean oven, I’m going to continue to use EASY-OFF® Fume Free Oven Cleaner for spot cleaning through the holidays. I love that there are no nasty fumes (there’s actually a light lemon scent) and I no longer fear baked-on grease or messy recipes.
EASY-OFF Oven Clean is available in Fume Free and Heavy Duty (for SERIOUSLY TOUGH JOBS) and can be purchased at Walmart. Visit EasyOff.us for more information.

That seems to have worked pretty darn well.

I had an apple pie that bubbled over once, ugh that was a sticky burnt mess to clean up!

I use Easy Off, too! Although I try not to let it get really icky in the first place.

I loooooove Easy Off; my mom used it all the time when I was a kid and now I do!
