Duracell Quantum Batteries + Quantum Heros #MC

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Duracell. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I would love to know how many batteries my family goes through in a year. On second thought, maybe I don’t want to know…

With a husband who loves electronics, a daughter who's constantly playing with toys & games and my career as a blogger, we go through a TON of batteries. That’s not even counting household items like smoke detectors. My biggest battery offender is actually the external flash on my DSLR. It required 2 AA batteries and I have to replace them after two days of heavy use of the camera. So if I’m traveling, I always have to bring along extra batteries — it kind of puts a damper when I have to stop and change batteries before I get a picture.

That’s one of the reasons why I’m happy Duracell came out with Quantum, a new, longer lasting battery that’s recognizable by its distinct red color. Duracell Quantum is the longest lasting alkaline battery on the market. With its revolutionary Hi-‐Density CoreTM and proprietary PowerCheckTM power indicator on the cell, Quantum has been engineered to deliver the performance consumers demand.

DURACELL QUANTUM

Duracell Quantum batteries will definitely help keep my gadgets working, but they’ll also serve an even greater purpose— this year, Duracell has donated one million batteries to first responders across the country to help them power their life-saving equipment.

I don’t know any first responders personally, but I can’t thank them enough for all they do. Duracell created a documentary highlighting all of the amazing work of first responders, telling their stories of sacrifice and heroism. Please take a look at this incredible documentary featuring Quantum Heros at http://www.youtube.com/Duracell.

I'm constantly changing out the batteries to my girls toys. I hate when they play with something and forget to turn it off and completely waste the batteries.

These batteries work pretty well. They lasted for about 8 hours of play on my son's Leappad
