Have you heard of Jingit? Jingit is a free service that pays you to engage with brands you love. You earn money by watching videos online and taking surveys, or by using the Jingit app on your phone (Apple or Android) and checking into products at your favorite stores.
I recently installed the app (free to download at Jingit.com), and went shopping with it at my local Super Walmart.{You can view my entire shopping trip here!} I figured this was the best way to experience the app and it couldn’t have been easier.
When I got to Walmart, I signed into my Jingit account using the app and was given a list of 14 products (many of them General Mills) to check into.
It was surprisingly easy (and fun!) to find the products and scan their barcodes. After each product is scanned I took a 1-question survey and was instantly credited with cash into my Jingit account — complete with a little “Cha-Ching!”
I already shop at Walmart, so scanning the bar codes only took a little extra time. I made $3.50 on my first trip, and could have earned more if I didn’t have to leave to pick up my daughter from school. Jingit starts everyone off with a $10 weekly earning limit (can be increased by sharing Jingit with friends), which translates to an extra $40 a month if you use Jingit every time you shop. I already use social media apps like Facebook and Foursquare to check-in when I’m out and about; Jingit is similar, yet it pays me when I’m shopping or watching videos! You also don’t need to purchase any of the products listed, just check into them by scanning the barcode — super easy!
While I was shopping at Walmart, I purchased four boxes of Cheerios (my daughter’s favorite cereal) and I earned four bonus Box Tops 4 Education … just for using Jingit!
