Apparently, I have both seasonal and pet allergies … which is new to me. Or at least that’s what I am assuming since I have been sneezing and itching my eyes nonstop since our new kitten — Rocky — has arrived.
It has been a battle every single day and night. I thought I could handle it with just Benadryl, but the itching was too much. Besides feeling drab, I was starting to look it– weeks of dry, itchy eyes were beginning to pay its toll. I had about given up on wearing makeup after applying it one too many times, just to ruin it minutes later. I was actually concerned that I was going to damage some part of my eye with all the rubbing … I was just miserable.

Can you could see how inflamed and irritated my eyes were? This was definitely a no-makeup day. Other than washing my face, I don’t have much of a beauty regimen when I have allergies.

Once home, I took Allegra right away.
Just one Allegra starts working within an hour — and lasts for 24 hours! I actually felt relief right away. My eyes didn’t itch once during my first dose. Since I was feeling better, I thought I would starting looking better. I used all of my goodies from CVS and did a little makeover.
