Holiday Entertaining Made Easy with Sam’s Club

This post is brought to you by Sam’s Club. All opinions are my own.

Oh my gosh, you guys— I can’t it’s a week until is Christmas! It feels like it came out of nowhere this year, and as much as I’ve tried, I’m still behind with some of my holiday shopping. The one area where I haven’t completely failed is holiday entertaining. Why? Because Sam’s Club makes it so easy!

I went shopping at Sam’s Club just this past weekend (yep— a Saturday no less!) and picked up everything I needed for an upcoming holiday get-together. Here’s a peek at what kind of goodies I found in store.

I’m always amazed at the variety of products that Sam’s Club carries, especially at their price points. I love that I can walk in-store and get everything I need in one go— from frozen food and wine to health and beauty and even holiday decor. Here’s a look at what I got for our {super casual} Christmas day family gathering.

That jug of wine is for my grandma, it’s the only kind she’ll drink!

First up, Christmas lights for our tree—

I was shocked at how low the price was of these LED Holiday Globe Lights and purchased two 400-strand sets to replace our existing bulbs. This is the backside of the tree, so disregard the lack of ornaments and bizarre stringing — I assure you the other side looks magical! This was an impromptu purchase due to Sam’s Club great pricing on holiday decor items. They have everything you need to trim a tree.

Beverages

A great party has great beverages for every guest. I’ll be serving red wine to the adults and sparking grape juice to the kids. I love how I can buy wine in bulk at Sam’s Club, like this entertaining pack with four bottles. The price was right at only $30! My daughter really enjoys Welch’s sparkling grape and we got a great deal on this 3-pack. There might even be one left over for her to drink on New Year’s.

We also picked up some festive paper plates to make party clean-up easier. No one wants to wash dishes on Christmas!

Finally we get into the goodies.

Like I mentioned, Christmas afternoon is very casual at our house. My mom, dad and sister’s family will come over to open presents. There’s lots of kids running around, so it doesn’t make sense to do an elegant production. I usually serve light snacks because once everyone leaves we have our own tradition of ordering Chinese take-out. This holiday I will be serving yummy Italian Cookies, Seasonal-Flavored Scones, Cheese & Fruit Appetizers, and a section of Sausage and Cheese. I love that Sam’s Club has a  200% satisfaction guarantee on high-quality produce, meat and baked goods.

I have everything for our gathering, but I’m still thinking about making one final stop at Sam’s Club before the holiday. I might even take advantage of their free Club Pickup! Members can order everything they need online at SamsClub.com from any computer or mobile device, and it will all be ready and waiting when they arrive to pickup. This service is available at all 653 Sam‘s Club locations.

Even though I’m behind with gifts and wrapping, I’m still excited for the holiday and can’t wait to see my family on Christmas day. I know everyone is going to love the snacks from Sam’s Club, and I’ll be happy that holiday entertaining was made so easy.

Are you entertaining this holiday? What are your must-haves?
