Peppermint Patty Frappé Recipe

I never drank coffee until I started to work from home -- now I can't imagine my life without it! Without fail, I start every morning with a hot cup of joe. It wakes me up enough to get me through whatever tasks I have planned for the day. But by mid-afternoon, I always need a little pick me up. It's not practical to leave my house to drive to the nearest coffee shop for an iced beverage every time I'm craving something sweet. Which is why I love new International Delight Light Iced Coffee.

International Delight Light

International Delight Light Iced Coffee is cold, ready and waiting for me any time I'm in the mood for a creamy treat, without all of the guilt. Since it's Light Iced Coffee, it contains ⅓ fewer calories, 39% less sugar and only has 100 calories a serving -- allowing me to indulge a little more when I've had a particularly stressful day.

While I love International Delight Light as is, I also like to get a little creative and make up my own coffee house inspired drinks. My latest recipe is just in time for St. Patrick's Day --

peppermint frappe

International Delight Light Peppermint Patty Frappé

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup International Delight Light Iced Mocha Coffee (Vanilla flavor can also be used if 1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder is added)
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar-Free Peppermint Coffee Syrup
  • Whipped Cream
  • Green Sprinkles
  • Crushed Ice

Directions:

  1. In Magic Bullet or blender, mix International Delight Iced Mocha Coffee with sugar-free peppermint coffee syrup. Add ice and blend thoroughly. Pour into tall glass and top with whipped creme and sprinkles. Enjoy!

With less calories and less sugar, International Delight Light Iced Coffee lets you enjoy MORE of what you love! For more fun ways to break up your day, visit ID's new online games today for a chance to win sweet prizes and coupons to use on your next purchase!

Being in England i've not come across anything remotely like this before - we're not the most exotic when it comes to food and drink over here! But that looks amazing, and I imagine it smells and tastes good too!

That looks tasty! However, I am not a big coffee drinker. I prefer to eat my calories 🙂
