Bahama Breeze Viva la Rita

Bahama Breeze is elevating cocktail hour to a whole new stratosphere this Spring as the restaurant ushers out Winter and celebrates the margarita during Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita!

Tequila, Limes, Good Times? I had to check it out for myself! It was time to introduce myself to Bahama Breeze’s new ‘Ritas. After a quick rundown from our server and a little insider info that the restaurant is whipping up its own fresh sweet and sour mix I settled on…

The Classic

Bahama Breeze Viva la Rita Classic Margarita

The Classic – For the margarita purist, this classic cocktail is made with fresh lime, lemon, crushed cane sugar and hand-shaken with José Cuervo tequila served in a pint glass. And what better to go with a margarita than chips and salsa?

Bahama Breeze Viva la Rita - Chips and Salsa

Chips ‘n Vine-ripened Tomato Salsa – With crispy corn tortilla and plantain chips. This came off of the “Snacks & Small Plates” section of the menu but was a substantial serving. Luckily my husband doesn’t eat tomatoes so I had this starter all to myself. I was getting pretty full from all the delicious chips and salsa so I opted to order my entrée for the evening off of the “Appetizer” menu.

Pork Carnitas Street Tacos – Slow cooked pork, cilantro-crema, black bean-corn salsa.

My husband didn’t need much time to peruse the menu. It’s a long-standing tradition that he orders the Coconut Shrimp whenever we visit Bahama Breeze.

Bahama Breeze Viva la Rita

Bahama Breeze Viva La ‘Rita is happening now through Cinco de Mayo, May 5th! If you can, try to stop by for dinner and drinks on a Friday evening, when Bahama Breeze is celebrating Viva La ‘Rita with live music and giveaways! It’s guaranteed to be a good time!

Also, when you’re there, make sure to enter the @BahamaBreezeIslandGrille Instagram contest by using #VivaLaRita—  you could win great prizes like t-shirts, gift cards or an island party for you and your friends!

So the big question is: Which Margarita will you choose at Bahama Breeze Viva La ‘Rita?
