Every once in awhile, I like sneaking a surprise snack in my daughter's lunch box. I like to do it this way so she doesn't expect it everyday and it makes her lunch extra-special.
Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats now has new writable packaging, perfect for sending surprise "love notes" to your child.
I tested the new packaging for the first time the other day. I think the concept is great and it's a small gesture to let your child know you're thinking of them even when they're at school. I had a little trouble writing on the Rice Krispie Treat since the surface underneath isn't flat...my penmanship was a little bumpy, but nothing to complain about.
My daughter got the message and one of her favorite treats, so I call this a success. It made me smile while I was writing the little "I love you" note, that during lunch she would open her lunch box and see my surprise. It's really the little things!
I think the new writable packaging would also work perfectly for school parties, when you are required to bring a wrapped snack. This would be a fun way to personalize each students treat...great for the holidays and you can use different color Sharpies! I think I will continue to sneak the new writable Rice Krispies Treats in my daughter's lunch with varying messages, hearts and smiley faces. Who knows, maybe I will even sneak one into my husband's lunch 😉
What do you think of the new writable Rice Krispie Treats? Any suggestions for "Love Notes"?
I received a gift card and a box of Rice Krispie Treats for sharing this post. All opinions are my own.
