The first thing that everyone tells you when you get an iPhone is–Â You better get a good cover for that or you’ll be sorry!
I got my iPhone in December and have just finally received a cover … I was tired of tempting fate.
The good people at Incipio asked my wife (Mommy Musings) if they could send her one of their premium iPhone covers.
She graciously ordered one for her wonderful, handsome and loving husband (me). So I’m going to tell you what I think about it.
Let me start by saying, when it comes to cases, Incipio is not messing around. They sent me their Destroyer Ultra case in black on black. The name alone just screams “protection”. Do you want this flimsy, unreliable cover, sir? and to that I respond, No thanks, give me the Destroyer Ultra!!Â

As soon as I received the Incipio Destroyer, I opened it right up. The case was very easy to put on, it also comes with a belt clip holster, a screen protector and a new shammy to keep everything clean and streak free.
The case has 3 layers of defense, including hi-impact military spec nylon, that helps absorb the shock against drops. Well, there is only one way to test the claims of a product like this…
I’m not encouraging anyone to do this. I felt like I kinda had to.Â
Much to the horror of my wife and daughter, I held my iPhone out, now wrapped in my Incipio Destroyer Ultra, and I dropped it … twice! Not one scratch, not one dent, not even so much as a ding. The Destroyer worked and more than lived up to its claims.
