Passport to Imagination – Museum Road Trip at Michaels

Now that summer is here, I’m sure you’re looking for fun activities to get your kids out of the house for a few hours a weekรขโ‚ฌโ€ At least,ร‚ย I know I am! Michaels has an awesome new program, Passport to Imagination, that combines culture through crafting. The seven-week camp meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon and includes weekly projects inspired by seven ofร‚ย North America’s top museums. At only $2 per child per session, it’s an inexpensive and educationalร‚ย experience for kids ages 5 an up. Best of all, Passport to Imagination is available at all U.S. Michaels locations.

Week 2: Georgia AquariumWeek 3: PIMA Air & Space Museum
Week 4: Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Week 5: Denver Art Museum
Week 6: The Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology
Week 7: Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

Additional Informationร‚ย on Passports to Imagination – Museum Road Trip

  • The in-store adventures take place June 16 through Aug. 1ร‚ย on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon. Each two-hour session is $2 per child at all U.S. Michaels locationsรขโ‚ฌโ€ just $6 a week.
  • This year Michaels has partnered with 7 of North Americaรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs best museums to create a museum road trip. Each day, kids will experience culture through crafts with projects inspired by world-class museum exhibits.
  • Participants can register for classes online or at their local Michaels store.ร‚ย To register for Passport to Imagination sessions online visitร‚ย Classes.Michaels.comร‚ย 
  • The first 50 participants who attendร‚ย Passport to Imagination at each Michaels location will receive a free portfolio to store and display their work. Additional portfolios can be purchased for $1.99, while supplies last.
