The Philips hue LED line is pretty amazing. I received Philips hue LED starter kit for my home, and now my view on lighting is forever changed. Instead of just being content with light in my home, I’m thinking of ways to make the lighting in every room AWESOME. My Philips Hue Review
My Philips Hue home lighting experience began with the Philips hue LED White & Color Ambiance Smart Lighting Starter Kit from Best Buy (SKU: 4373916). The kit includes 3 A19 Smart Lightbulbs; a Wireless bridge, allowing me to control up to 50 hue and Friends devices like light switches, dimmer, lightstrips, lamps, and more; a power adapter; and a 6.56 foot Ethernet network cable.
Setting up the Philips hue LED White & Color Ambiance Smart Lighting Starter Kit was ridiculous easy. Within 10 minutes I had installed the bulbs (just light regular light bulbs), downloaded the Philips Hue app and connected the wireless bridge — That was 10 minutes from start to finish! I honestly couldn’t believe how easy it was to set up.
When you first turn the lights on they are the color of your standard light bulb, but when you log in to the app you can change them with a single tap. There are 19 pre-loaded scenes that instantly change the mood of any room. You can use these set scenes or make your own. The possibilities are endless. Take a look at some of the options…
    
You can’t see the third bulb in my photos, but we have a floor lamp in one of the corners of our bedroom. What makes the Philips Hue bulbs really cool is that they each display different colors to make up the “hue” of the room. Of course you could have them all set at the same color, but I think it’s a cool effect to mix and match. My favorite scene is “Blue Rain” — it’s going to be so peaceful to fall asleep to at night!
