Royal Wedding Fever

I think I need a commemorative Royal Wedding plate.

No, I don't.

Yes, I do!

As the Royal Wedding draws nearer, the little thirteen-year-old girl inside of me --the one that was so totally obsessed with the Royal Family that she created her very first website around them-- is insisting that I hop on the Wills and Kate bandwagon like the rest of the crazies out there.

After all, this is the wedding of the century.

My plan to watch the Royal Wedding is two three-fold. First being, I have a cross-country flight at 8:00am, and I prefer to sleep through it. Staying up all night with my eyes glued to the TV will guarantee this.

The second reason...I really want to see it.

You see, Prince William and I are the same age. When Princess Diana passed away I was 15 and I remember sitting in front of the TV, crying, as if I had lost someone I knew personally. The whole thing was tragic, and I felt like Wills and I had a connection-- as if from across the pond, he could see my tears.

I know this is completely pathetic. And ridiculous.

Watching him marry a commoner is just the fairytale everyone has been waiting for.

Oh, and the third reason... I now totally have the hots for Prince Harry.

Shhh...

So yes, I do plan on watching the Royal Wedding. Back to that commemorative plate...

How cute is this little gem from etsy?

I will have more fun Royal Wedding stuff on Friday, until then...

Will you be watching the Royal Wedding?

Very cute plate, pretty and tasteful. Some of the things I've seen have been kind of hideous, but I could see buying that. 🙂
