If you’re going through the effort of making an incredible holiday meal, it only makes sense to set an incredible holiday table. For years I would just spread everything out buffet style and let me guests have at it. Now that I’m a little older, I pay more attention to the little details and enjoy setting a proper table.
Here are few things you’ll need if you want to take your Thanksgiving day tablescape to the next level.
How to Set the Perfect Thanksgiving Tablescape
What you’ll need (one for each guest):
- Dinner, salad and dessert plate
- Full setting of silverware -Â Forks on the left, spoons and knives on the right, placed in the order they will be used.
- Glassware
- Charger – dinner plate placed on top
- Cloth napkin – placed on top of main plate
- Napkin ring
- Place card with name of guest
- Tablecloth
- Table runner
- Thanksgiving centerpiece – fall floral arrangement, candles, pumpkins
