I did some acts of kindness with Kleenex® Brand products as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #KleenexCare. All opinions are my own.
Cold and Flu season is upon us, and unfortunately, that means sick days are too. I dread this time of year because at least one member of my family always falls ill with some kind of nasty bug.
At home we are diligent about washing our hands with Hibiclens and using products to keep germs at bay, but I can't say the same for my daughter when she's at school — which is usually where colds, and sometimes the flu, is picked up and passed on from kid to kid.
Kleenex Care
We donated a bunch of Kleenex® Brand Tissues and hand sanitizer at the beginning of the school year, but it's amazing how fast those products are used up (I don't see that as a bad thing!).
I thought it would be a good time to put together some Kleenex care kits, with personal sized tissues and hand sanitizers for my daughter's teachers. These kits would be used in conjunction with larger boxes of Kleenex® tissues, which I will also send in.
I'm hoping her teachers will pass out the included Kleenex® Brand To-Go Packs and Kleenex® Brand Slim Packs to students with sneezes or runny noses. The small sized package is perfect for storage inside desks, backpacks, or even pockets, and can be taken everywhere from the classroom to the playground.
I love making these Kleenex® care kits because they're so easy to put together, and even though they're small, they can make a big impact.
In addition to sending these to my daughter's school teachers, I'm considering making some extras to share with a few of our older neighbors. The products inside may not cost a lot, but the sentiment of sharing a Kleenex is an easy way to show you care!
You can join the “Share the Kleenex Care” movement, too, by making and sharing your own Kleenex® health care kits.
Think about sending the kits to your child's school, your significant other's workplace, or even to neighbors and members of social groups. I placed my Kleenex® Brand tissues and sanitizers inside small bins that I purchased at the Dollar Store (2 for $1!).
You could just as easily place the products inside a zippered plastic bag and include a small handwritten note— though, Kleenex® softness is a catalyst for showing kindness and care all by itself.
