As an adult, juices other than OJ are not usually on my regular weekly shopping list. That was until I tried Simply Juice Drinks at an in-store tasting event at Target. I usually pass off the free samples to my daughter as she loves the idea of eating and drinking around the store, but on this particular day I was thirsty and grabbed a cup of new Simply Tropical Juice Drink. Simply Juice Drinks are a new premium line of all natural juice made with simple ingredients, real fruit juice, and no added preservatives, colors or artificial flavors.
Needless to say, I got hooked on the refreshing blend of real fruit flavor, so I decided to pick up all three varieties —Fruit Punch, Tropical and Mixed Berry— to try again at home.
My favorite Simply Juice Drink is Fruit Punch. I’ve found a glass of it during the day is just what I need when I’m craving something sweet. And with no added preservatives, colors or artificial flavors, it’s a good choice for me too.
When I want to kick things up a notch, usually in the evening, I’m not afraid to admit that I add an ounce of my favorite rum for a quick & easy rum punch. The flavor has me yearning for a trip back to the Caribbean! I think Tropical Simply Juice would taste equally delicious as a mixed cocktail — I’d even mix both Fruit Punch and Tropical Simply Juice with either vodka or rum for a fruity adult beverage. Yum!
Of course, all three Simply Juice Drinks are great on their own too! The reason I prefer Simply Juice Drinks is because it doesn’t taste artificial— Simply Juice Drinks are not a “kid’s juiceâ€, though you could certainly serve it to your children, as I do. My daughter actually prefers the Fruit Punch and Mixed Berry to other brands that are marketed more towards children. I’d like to think that she has good taste!
