We all know how hectic the holiday season is! There’s just so much going on and not enough time to fit it all in.

As crazy as it gets though, it’s important to take time to relax and to treat yourself.

We all have our favorite sweet treats. I’m personally a big fan of sweet and sour candy, like Sour Punch®. I don’t know what it is that makes them so addicting, but once I get my hands on a bag of Sour Punch® Bites®, it’s on!

The sweet and sour strawberry, green apple and blue raspberry flavors are irresistible — so irresistible that I thought they would make the perfect pairing for a mocktail….just in time for the holiday season!

This Sour Candy mocktail has the citrus flavors of a margarita with a splash of grenadine, a colored sugar rim, and garnish of Sour Punch® Bites® candies. There is no alcohol, so it can be enjoyed by anyone at your next holiday gathering.

This margarita mocktail is super festive, too! I chose to use only red and green Sour Punch® Bites®, but the blue would work just as well.

Sour Candy Margarita Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sparkling lemonade (or Margarita mix topped with soda water)
• 1 ounce of grenadine
• ½ ounce of lime juice
• Sour Punch® Bites®
• Red decorating sugar
• Treat stick for garnish

How to Make Sour Candy Margarita Mocktail:

1. Rim your favorite glass with red decorating sugar
2. Fill with ice
3. Add grenadine
4. Add lime juice
5. Top with sparkling lemonade
6. Garnish with the bites on treat sticks and additional lime.

This sour candy mocktail is perfectly sweet and sour at the same time. You could use the treat stick of Sour Punch® Bites® to stir into your mocktail, or to enjoy along with the beverage.
