This post is sponsored by Power Wheels. All opinions are my own.

Pow, Pow Power Wheels! Pow, Pow Power Wheels! Power Wheeeeeeels!

Do you remember that commercial from the 80s-early 90s? As a kid who grew up during that time period, I distinctly remember those commercials and how Power Wheels was the ULTIMATE Christmas gift. It didn't matter if you were a boy or a girl, getting your own battery-powered car was the equivalent of winning the kid-lottery. Every year I'd ask my mom for Barbie's Corvette and each year I was denied. It wasn't until a neighbor friend got one that my dreams of riding in a Power Wheel were fulfilled. Those were the days...

I supposed not much has changed since then and Power Wheels are still one of the most requested gifts from kids. My daughter had her own Power Wheels Jeep when she was five, a gift from her grand parents no less. She loved riding around on that thing and I, secretly, lived vicariously through her (seriously, if my twenty-something self could have fit in there, I would have rode around with her!).

Now, I have a niece that will soon be asking for her own Power Wheels— I'm kinda hoping my sister says no to buying her one so I can give it to her myself and be the BEST AUNT EVER!!!

Take a look at the reactions on these kids faces when they find out they're getting a Power Wheels. Priceless.

Did you have a Power Wheels growing up? Do your kids want one now?

When my children were younger they had power wheels. They loved them.
