It's hard to imagine what goes on in the mind of child, especially when they're trying to comprehend the who, what, when, where, why and how of a situation. For example, when my daughter was younger she always gave me the strangest look when I was in the bathroom shaving my legs. One day she finally questioned me on it — "Mom, you're taking a sharp blade to your body because ... why?". And I just had to laugh. I explained it's just something you do when you're older, but the girl had a point...
Beauty routines (waxing, shaving, dying gray hairs, etc.) are just one of many things that are hard for kids to digest. But Rice Krispies® cereal is easy to digest. That's because it's made of rice, which moms know is gentle on little tummies.
Check out this short video to see what I mean:
I've been eating Rice Krispies since I was a kid, and my daughter has been eating them since she was a toddler. Even though my little one is beyond the stage of having digestive issues, I still buy Rice Krispies cereal on a regular basis because they're easy to eat (just add milk!) and make great marshmallow treats ... plus, we can't resist the Snap, Crackle & Pop!
What about you— How long have you been eating Rice Krispies cereal? Do you feed it to your kids because it's gentle on their tummies?

That's funny. It takes a few years for them to get why we shave and then they want to too!

This video is really cute. We love Rice Krispies at our house and it's nice that they are easy on the tummy.

My kids haven't tried them yet unless you count Rice Krispie treats!

I think Rice Krispies Treats are the only way we have eaten them as well! But, I loved them as a kid -- especially leaning into the bowl and listening to their famous noise!

Rice Krispies are my favorite cereal! I got my 4yo hooked on them, too!

Eating Rice Krispies with freshly sliced banana and strawberries bring back my childhood and always makes me smile. In fact, it's been far too long since I've had a bowl.

Rice Krispies have always been a favorite here. I love making treats with them!

It's not something I ever knew was "easy" on child's tummy - but we have them in our pantry all the time. They're just 'okay' with regular milk, but add some vanilla almond milk and I'm eating more than just one bowl at breakfast 😉
