What is the greatest flavor on Earth?
When I first heard this question, my mind raced. I tried to think back to all of the amazing meals that I’ve had in my life. Was it even possible to single out the “greatest” flavor? — Was this a trick question!?Â
Then I watched this heartwarming video from Knorr and it all became perfectly clear. I won’t spoil it for you yet, but you have to check out this short story of Carmen, a British girl who is now living in the Arctic as a husky guide.
As soon as Carmen mentioned missing her mom’s cooking, a lightbulb went off and realized that the greatest flavor on Earth was the taste of home. Knorr believes in bringing flavor to people’s lives, and the new video captures this sentiment perfectly.
I really enjoyed this video from Knorr because it felt authentic. You could really feel the emotion from both Carmen and her mother and how they missed each other. When the dish was revealed, you could see that Carmen recognized it as her mother’s cooking — and then we she tasted it … I almost lost it!
Flavor is a powerful thing (and way more than just about how something tastes!): It can bring about emotions and memories of childhood or good times with family and friends — do you agree that the greatest flavor on Earth is the taste of home?
