It’s safe to say that Star Wars is big in our home. My husband is really the one to blame for the madness; he was the ultimate Star Wars fan as a kid, seeing the original on opening day at age five, and then forever becoming a devotee to the franchise.
Because of his passion, my daughter and I have inherited a love for all of the films. We’ve already bought tickets to see the new movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 17 (opening day!), and my husband insisted that we couldn’t just show up at the theater in plain clothes. Do you see where this is going??
Of course, we had to go out and buy new Star Wars clothing and merch for the special occasion. Which was great for me because I will take any excuse to go shopping! I had heard that Kohl’s was THE PLACE to go for Star Wars branded items and decided to take the fam to see what’s in store before we placed an order online. While I usually do the majority of my shopping online, there were a few of us who were a little too impatient to wait out the shipping. I can confirm that Kohls.com has an incredible selection of Star Wars clothing, toys, games, accessories and gifts for the home.
When we walked in to our local store, I thought my husband and daughter were going to faint. Kohl’s had every kind of Star Wars item that you could ever want or hope for. Clothes, toys, gifts … you name it! The Force was definitely with us on our shopping day because we scored a ton of great stuff. Here’s just a sampling of our Kohl’s shopping haul:
My big find of the day was these Star Wars cookie cutters – I’m going to use them to make themed gingerbread cookies for the holidays!
And this R2D2 Christmas ornament!? So cute! I knew it had to be mine!
My husband and daughter picked out some matching lightsabers as well as sweatshirts and pants.
Rick has lived in this hoodie since we bought it – all the items will get a ton of wear before the new film is even released!
