Do you know someone in your community who is making an impact for the greater good? Whether they’re a single volunteer or part of a group, it’s important to take time out to remember the people in our community who make wishes come true for others, especially during the holiday season.
UPS wants to honor these people and organizations through the UPS #WishesDelivered. And you can get involved!
Holiday Season Wishes Delivered with UPS
Tell UPS how you or someone you know is making wishes come true for others. For every wish submitted or shared from now until January 1, UPS will donate $1 to one of five charity partners (Boys & Girls Club of America, World Food Programme, Toys for Tots Literacy Program, The Salvation Army, The UN Refugee Agency) up to $150K! — But that’s not all!
In addition to highlighting problem solvers in your community, you can also submit your own wish for the greater good. This should be a heart-felt wish that aims to help someone, a group or an organization in need.
There are two easy ways to get your story or wish for others out there:

       You can simply post your wish on Twitter or Instagram (or both!) with hashtag #WishesDelivered.
- Go directly to the #WishesDelivered Site and submit a story about how you or someone/an organization you know that is making wishes come true.
My Wish for Others
I feel like I have the same wish year after year, but I think it remains the same because I am a parent. And I realize the season isn’t all about presents, but for young children this is harder to understand. My wish is for every family in my community to have a warm meal with a gift for each child. I will be donating toys to Toys For Tots and donating food to my local food bank in an effort to make help my wish come true.
I know how lucky my family is and the joy we have during this time of year, I want every family to be able to experience this on some level. Especially with all of the negativity that surrounds us today. What’s your wish?
