The Your Shape Challenge sponsored by Ubisoft and Collective Bias is officially over. While I didn't have a significant weight loss, I did learn a few things that will hopefully put me in the right direction for future success.
First- I will never lose any weight if I don't change my diet. No matter how much I work out, if I reward myself with sweets and treats, nothing is going to change.
Second- I took a hard look at my diet during the Your Shape Challenge...and it wasn't pretty.  I'm now more aware of my choices. I'm focusing on eating whole foods and feeling better because of it.
It took 12 weeks of exercise without any weight loss to come to these realizations.
But, the good news is that I am prepared for the next 3 months, and through diet and exercise, I am bound to see results.
I am going to continue the Your Shape Workout and also add some additional cardio to the mix. I recently started running and I think the combo of the two will be golden. I'd also like to set a goal for myself and that is to run the Disney Wine & Dine 5K in October.
I would like to thank Collective Bias, Ubisoft, Walmart, Lady Foot Locker and my team leader, Stacie for doing such a great job.
Though this is the end of the challenge, I think it's just the beginning of a bigger lifestyle change.
The Your Shape Challenge was sponsored by Collective Bias, Ubisoft and Walmart. I received incentives from these sponsors to keep me motivated during the challenge. All opinions are my own.
