Day 2 of the Resort Showcase started bright and early with an 8:00am breakfast at The Wave at the Contemporary Resort. This is one of Disney's newest restaurants.
The Wave features American cuisine with an emphasis on organic, locally grown, and sustainable food and drinks.
For my breakfast I tried the Eggs Benedict with Choron Sauce...it was delicious!
*Also, did you know that DisneyWorld.com has a new section of their website which features menus of some of the most popular restaurants at Disney World? It's new and you can check it out here! Very helpful when planning your reservations for your vacation.
After a yummy breakfast we were off for the first tour of the day...the much anticipated Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs.

All this with the same amenities as Saratoga Springs with its own pool and bus stops. I have to admit, these were pretty cool and the theming is wonderful.
Next up was Caribbean Beach Resort and the new Pirate Rooms.
Here are the newly refurbished standard rooms which feature the characters from Finding Nemo-
and the new Pirate Rooms- The bedspreads look like "treasure"
The pirate rooms are approximately $25 more a night than the standard room (but to me, the theming is totally worth it!)
After seeing these pictures my daughter is insistent she wants to stay in a Pirate Room for her 5th birthday. Mommy will see what she can do.

Disney's Pirate Adventure - an optional kid program were children ages 4-12 set sail and hunt for buried treasure.

To be perfectly honest, the Caribbean Beach Resort blew me away. I cannot wait to stay here sometime in the future. Everything about this resort was FUN, and it is the perfect place to stay in the summer with its "beaches" and awesome pool area...not to mention one of the best themed food courts. I was really impressed, and this is only a moderate.
