Disney Unveils Frozen Themed Suite at Quebec City's Ice Hotel

A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit Hotel de Glace, aka the Ice Hotel, in Quebec City, Canada. As you can imagine, it was spectacular— a hotel made completely out of ice! I didn't have the chance to stay as I was in town for the Winter Carnival, though I would jump at the occasion if it ever comes around. It's one of those things that I would love to check off on my bucket list!

If sleeping in an ice hotel wasn't exciting enough, there's a new Frozen-inspired suite available this season that makes the experience even more memorable. Created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow and supervised by the film’s art director Michael Giaimo, the “Frozen Suite” is modeled after Anna & Elsa’s bedrooms. The collaboration will also include a “Frozen Activity Cave” bringing the wonder of Disney’s wintry tale to life like never before.

When they say everything is made out of ice, they aren't kidding. The walls and furniture, even the bed, are made out of carved ice and snow. Guests receive a Nordic sleeping bag for the night and access to the Nordic area's hot tubs and sauna to keep warm, but that's it — it's truly a frozen experience!

The FROZEN-themed suite is available from now until March 23, 2014. Disney's FROZEN will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack March 18.

Would you like to stay in the FROZEN suite at Hotel de Glace?

It is beautiful and picture-worthy, but I don't think I could get a good night's sleep there! ~lol~

I would love to take my niece and my kids to that place. They really love the Frozen movie from Disney. Geez, hopefully the accommodation charges is not that high and won't hurt my pocket. LOL.
