I’m really picky about what souvenirs I purchase when I travel as I don’t want to accumulate a bunch of “stuff”. I thought I solved this problem by buying  a Christmas ornament at each new destination I visit. It’s a great way to have something to remember your trip, while being totally useful. However, there are some vacations that are so memorable that an ornament just doesn’t feel like enough.
Enter Pandora bracelets and charms–
I received my first Pandora bracelet and charms set this past Christmas from my mother. She saw me looking at the charms while we were visiting St. Maarten, and I must have commented on how fun it would be to collect them on my travels. My first three charms are personal, each coming from my mom, dad and husband, but future charms will be added when I travel somewhere epic … more of life or bucket list travels.
While looking over the charms at Pandora, I came across quite a few that would be perfect for travel. Some obvious, others not so much. Take a look:
Pandora Travel Charms
Pandora Airplane – Clearly the airplane symbolizes travel. This would be great to add for general travel, an international flight, or for kids first travels (my daughter wants a bracelet).
Pandora Cruise Ship – I love the cruise ship charm as I’m an avid cruiser. This would be a great charm to add for a first cruise, or a family reunion cruise. It’s really adorable in person, too.
Pandora Suit Case – The suitcase is one of my favorite Pandora charms because it’s perfect for general travel.
Pandora Statue of Liberty – Perfect for visits to NYC.
Pandora Big Ben - Perfect for visits to London or UK.
Pandora Colosseum – Perfect for visits to Rome.
Pandora Eiffel Tower – I own this charm, but it signifies something different than visiting Paris. This would be a great charm for travels to France.
Pandora La Sagrada Familia – I love this charm for Barcelona. My daughter and I traveled there last summer, but we didn’t have the chance to see this beautiful church.
Pandora Brandenburg Gate – Perfect for travels to Germany.
Pandora London Bus – I’ve yet to visit London, but when I do, this is the charm I am getting. I adore this London bus with the Union Jack on top.
Pandora Dice – If you got lucky in Las Vegas, the dice charm would be perfect.
Pandora Pineapple – The pineapple charm would compliment visits to Hawaii.
Pandora Babushka Doll – This adorable charm works well for travels to Russia.
Pandora Murono Glass Bead – If only I had a Pandora bracelet when I went to Italy last year — I would have definitely picked up a Murano bead charm.
Pandora Palm Trees – This palm tree charm works for a variety of tropical destinations, especially in the Caribbean.
Pandora Buddha – Buddha will work for a variety of countries in Asia.
Pandora Kangaroo – If traveling down under to Australia, consider the kangaroo charm.
Pandora Viking – If I ever travel to Norway, you can bet I’m going to add this little viking charm.
Pandora Wanderlust – This new Pandora bead is only $25 and is great for those (like myself) with the desire to travel. Â Even if you never get to half of the destinations on your list, the wanderlust charm showcases your desire to travel the world. LOVE!
