My husband and I were married 5 years ago. In five short years, we have outgrown our wedding bands. By outgrown, I don't mean we don't love them anymore-- I mean our bands are too tight! My wedding band is white gold with diamonds and it could be adjusted if I wanted. I choose not to, and instead vow to lose a few pounds until my band fits again. My husband's wedding band is another whole issue. It's made of titanium, and it cannot be re-sized. I'm actually impressed he still wears it as it leaves an indent for days if he needs to remove if for some reason. For Christmas this year, I think I am going to buy him a new ring from MensTungstenOnline.com.
Mens tungsten rings are durable, but unlike gold, its chemical make-up allows for a scratch resistant surface that is nearly indestructible. Because of this, I would be buying a larger size band than the one her currently owns, and if he were to lose weight, he would go back to his titanium ring.
The tungsten rings that are really catching my eye are the black bands. They are so unique, and totally different from anything he currently owns. I think the black rings really stand out, especially with engraving.
Here's a few of my top choices:
The ring above is most like his actual wedding band, just with a stripe of black down the center. According to the website, this ring is one of the most unique tungsten bands. I think it is just really cool looking-- very manly -- I know he would love it.
I think the pricing on these are really good at less than $200 each..especially since tungsten will last a lifetime!
So, what do you think of black tungsten rings for men? Will it make a good Christmas gift?
