This post is brought to you by Smuckerรขโฌโขs. All opinions are my own.
For the past five months I have been a part of a fabulous campaign with Smucker’s sharing my love for all things PB&J. In that time, my daughter and I have enjoyed more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches than I can count…and we’ve loved every single one of them! There’s something super comforting about the combination, and I hope that in this time we’ve created some lasting memories, too. I know I won’t soon forget ourรย After School PB&J Barรย and Double-Decker PB&Jรย — we’ve come to realize there really is a PB&J for every moment!
For my final post, Smucker’s sent me a gift box full of products to create one last PB&J party. We really didn’t need an excuse to chow down on one of our favorites sandwiches, but this box full of goodies reallyรย put us in the mood.
I decided to use the the contents to make an open-faced PB&J, with Smucker’s strawberry preserves in the shape of hearts as the showstopper. I put a lot of love into each and every peanut butter and jelly sandwich for my daughter, and this was a new way to show it! Needless to say, these jellies were a huge hit!
And here’s a tip: If you want to make mess-free jelly hearts, simply scoop Smucker’s jam or jelly in a zippered baggie and cut a small tip off one of the ends. Then just pipe the heart shape on top of the peanut butter! You could make a ton of different designs using this method.
I’m so happy my daughter loves sharing PB&J’s with me, and I secretly hope she’ll never grow out of it!
