Need an easy, mouthwatering appetizer? These Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese are out of this world good and will impress guests with only 3 ingredients! 

Bacon wrapped dates are one of life's guilty pleasures. I'm not sure where or when I first had one, but I know it was love at first bite. The only thing better than bacon wrapped dates are bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese— It's like double icing on the cake!

Bacon Wrapped Dates Goat Cheese

If you've never had bacon-wrapped dates or goat cheese stuffed dates, it might be hard to convince you to try them based on photos alone. They're not the most picturesque appetizer. But this is one time where you will have to trust me, the photos DO NOT do this recipe for bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates justice.

Medjool dates have a wonderfully sweet and mild flavor, and when stuffed with creamy goat cheese and wrapped in smoked bacon and baked, it creates the most amazing, mouthwatering party appetizer. If you have any type of gathering and want to impress a crowd, make these bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese! I promise there will not be a single bite leftover.

Bacon Wrapped Dates Goat Cheese Recipe

Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bacon, sliced in half
  • 16 Medjool dates
  • 4 ounces goat cheese

Also needed for bacon wrapped dates:

  • Toothpicks

Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese Ingredients

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Goat Cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a plate with paper towels and set aside.

2. Using a sharp knife, slice the dates open lengthwise to remove the pit and also create a pocket.

3. Stuff goat cheese into the pocket of each date.

4. Wrap each date with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick through the top.

5. Place bacon wrapped dates on a rimmed bacon sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and place dates on their side before baking for another 6-7 minutes. Continue this process until all sides are browned and crisped to your liking.

6. Once baking is completed, place dates on the prepared plate and allow some of the excess grease to absorb into the paper towels. Serve warm.

Ingredients
