Itรขโฌโขs amazing to me that the holidays are right around the cornerรขโฌโ this year has flown by so fast!
As Iรขโฌโขm getting together all my last-minute preparations for Christmas (and I have a list a mile long!), Iรขโฌโขm reminded that Samรขโฌโขs Club has just about everything I need for holiday entertaining.
With family and friends coming over to see our new house for the holidays, Iรขโฌโขm putting all my effort into making my home warm & inviting. For my family, that means lots and lots of food!
This year Iรขโฌโขm putting on a spread that will rival anything Iรขโฌโขve made in years past. Iรขโฌโขm going all out with ham, turkey and all of the fixinsรขโฌโข, including appetizers and dessert. Samรขโฌโขs Club has many of the products I need ready-made, or close to it, where I can just add a few additional ingredients to make something everyone will love.
One of my familyรขโฌโขs favorite appetizers, for any time of year, is Sausage & Pimento Cheese Dip. My husband and daughter literally beg me to make this pimento cheese dip whenever we have people coming over because itรขโฌโขs such a crowd-pleaser.
Whatรขโฌโขs great about Samรขโฌโขs Club during the holidays is that I can buy the items I need in bulk to use in multiple dishes. This saves me time and moneyรขโฌโ both are essential during the holidays!
A good example of this รขโฌหholiday hackรขโฌโข is my recipe for Pimento Cheese Sausage Dip, which uses a pound of Jimmy Dean Sausage. While Iรขโฌโขm doing my prep for that dish, I cook up the other half of the 2lb roll from Samรขโฌโขs Club to use in a breakfast recipe for the next day. I love getting the most bang for my buck ๐
Sausage & Pimento Cheese Dip Recipe
Pimento Cheese Dip Ingredients:
- 1lb Jimmy Dean Sausage
- 1 container Pimento Cheese, approx. 11-12oz
- 8oz Cream Cheese, cubed
- 1 cup diced tomatoes and green chilies
How to Make Pimento Cheese Dip with Sausage:
1. Cook ground sausage thoroughly in a skillet over medium-high heat (no pink).
2. Reduce to low-medium heat รขโฌโ add pimento cheese, cream cheese and tomatoes and chilies.
3. Stir slowly until everything melts together.
4. Serve immediately with crackers or chips. This sausage & pimento cheese dip is best served hot or warm.
