It’s amazing to me that the holidays are right around the corner— this year has flown by so fast!
As I’m getting together all my last-minute preparations for Christmas (and I have a list a mile long!), I’m reminded that Sam’s Club has just about everything I need for holiday entertaining.
With family and friends coming over to see our new house for the holidays, I’m putting all my effort into making my home warm & inviting. For my family, that means lots and lots of food!
This year I’m putting on a spread that will rival anything I’ve made in years past. I’m going all out with ham, turkey and all of the fixins’, including appetizers and dessert. Sam’s Club has many of the products I need ready-made, or close to it, where I can just add a few additional ingredients to make something everyone will love.
One of my family’s favorite appetizers, for any time of year, is Sausage & Pimento Cheese Dip. My husband and daughter literally beg me to make this pimento cheese dip whenever we have people coming over because it’s such a crowd-pleaser.
What’s great about Sam’s Club during the holidays is that I can buy the items I need in bulk to use in multiple dishes. This saves me time and money— both are essential during the holidays!
A good example of this ‘holiday hack’ is my recipe for Pimento Cheese Sausage Dip, which uses a pound of Jimmy Dean Sausage. While I’m doing my prep for that dish, I cook up the other half of the 2lb roll from Sam’s Club to use in a breakfast recipe for the next day. I love getting the most bang for my buck 😉
