Disney Florida Mom Blogger Mixer

I was very fortunate to spend this past weekend with some very magical moms at the Disney Florida Mom Bloggers Mixer. The moms I had the pleasure of meeting-

Leigh from ThemeParkMom.com

Melanie from ModernMami.com

Shari from CrazedMommy.com

Shellie from Blog4Mom.com

Cindy from TheMomMaven.com

Daisy from DrMommyChronicles.com

....another special mom was Tanya from the Disney Mom's Panel.

Also a very special thanks to Laura, Leanne, Mary, and Maria Bailey- for making this weekend possible. It really was Magical!

Now lets get down to how we spent 2 days at Disney World.

I must start out by saying that I was late to the mixer. Unfortunately for me, the weather was pretty bad on our way to Orlando and we had to stop multiple times on the side of the road to wait for the rain to clear. To make matters worse, my husband had some sort of anxiety attack, and needless to say, we were late.

Luckily Disney was nice enough to get me with the group as soon as I arrived. Our first order of business was lunch at The Wave (Disney's Contemporary Resort).

This was not my first dining experience at The Wave, but it was definitely the best. We sampled many appetizers, a little wine, and then had a fabulous lunch. I played it pretty safe and had a bacon cheeseburger, but I have to tell you it was one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had.

After a good amount of time talking and meeting with the other women it was time to go on our first tour of the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort, Bay Lake Towers.

On our way out the waitress gave us our very own light up Tinkerbell cup. Look how cute! These can be purchased for your kids (or yourself) at most Disney restaurants. There is also a Disney Cars option for boys.

I really want to share a lot of detail about everything we got to see and do. So to make these posts a little more manageable I am going to break them up into bite sized portions. Up next-

Bay Lake Towers

Treehouse Villas

All Star Music Family Suites

Caribbean Beach Resort Pirate Rooms

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Dinner at California Grill

Characters in Flight at Downtown Disney

The Pirates League

Lunch at the Brown Derby

American Idol Experience Backstage Tour

Love Disney and counting down the days to our next trip in October. I wish Disney would hire me to blog about Disney without kids! I'm an expert. 😛

Sounds like fun! Can't wait to see the upcoming posts. That Tink drink looks like it has something similar to what we bought Cate during Illuminations this past April. It was a glowing Tink on a key chain but could also be used as a pin!
