What Is Slime?
Slime is a viscous, glue-like substance that is made from a mixture of water, Borax, and white glue. It has become popular in recent years as a toy and stress reliever for both children and adults. Slime can be made in many different colors and textures, depending on the ingredients used. It can be smooth or sticky, and it can even be made to glow in the dark!
What Is Jelly Cube Slime?
Jelly cube slime is a type of slime that is made with squishy cubes included. It has a unique, bouncy texture that makes it fun to play with. This type of slime can be made in any color, but we love the way kiwi jelly cube slime looks and feels!
Why Is It Good to Let Kids Play With Slime?
Slime is a great sensory activity for kids. It helps them to explore their sense of touch and develop fine motor skills. Playing with slime can also be therapeutic for children who have anxiety or sensory processing disorder. But even if your child doesn't have any specific NEED to play with slime, there are still benefits. My favorite thing is that slime-play builds-up those little fine muscles on a kiddo's hands to help them with their writing skills.
How Do You Clean Up After Playing with Slime?
The great thing about slime is that it's very easy to clean up! Just make sure you have a few old rags or paper towels on hand, as well as some dish soap. Then just wipe all the flat surfaces the slime came into contact with with warm water and dish soap, then you're good!
How Do You Store Slime?
You can put your slime in an airtight container to store it for later. We like to use mason jars or plastic bags. You can also store your slime in the fridge if you want it to last even longer!
What If Slime Gets In Your Carpet?
Don't worry, slime is easy to clean out of carpet too! Just make a paste out of dish soap and water, and scrub it into the affected area. Then vacuum up the residue and your carpet will be as good as new! If for some reason that doesn't work, you can repeat the process with some vinegar and warm water.
