This flourless double chocolate Vegan Black Bean Brownies recipe is so delicious that you won't even know it's dairy-free (or made with black beans!)
When I was a little girl, I distinctly remember my mom using a KitchenAid mixer in the kitchen. It was how she whipped up delicious baked goods for our family holidays. I remember asking to lick the stainless steel bowl any time she made cookies or brownies -- for whatever reason, back then it wasn't an issue to consume raw eggs and she happily obliged to my whims. It's funny how those little memories stick with you.
Fast forward to adulthood, where for the longest time I coveted a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. I even had one on my wedding registry, which sadly went unfulfilled. My mom offered me her mixer, but I didn't have the heart to take it from her as I knew how many memories were attached to the appliance.
I vowed to have my own one day, but it wasn't until this year that I finally had a KitchenAid mixer in my possession thanks to Best Buy.
The wait was worth it though because I received a KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer, which is 25% smaller with all the same features as a standard kitchen aid mixer.
When we purchased our first home last year we downsized by 50%— I thought I would never find appliances that would fit in our tiny kitchen, but the KitchenAid Artisan Mini is perfect. It can be stored on our counter or under the cabinets with ease. For the first time in my life, I'm looking forward to holiday baking!

The NEW Artisan Mini Stand Mixer from Best Buy is 20% smaller and 25% lighter, making it the ideal culinary tool for smaller spaces and kitchens. The compact size and lighter weight perfectly suit the needs of a city dweller who loves to cook in their smaller spaces. Artisan Mini is made for your lifestyle, made for your kitchen, made for you.
Though mini in size, the NEW Mini Stand Mixer can make up to 5 dozen cookies in its 3.5-quart stainless steel bowl. The Artisan Mini Stand Mixer also features 10 mixing speeds and comes with a coated flat beater, dough hook, and 6-wire whip.
It's going to be a few months until I put this baby to good use (the holiday season!) but for now, I'm using it on tried and true recipes. One of the first is on these decadent double chocolate vegan black bean brownies.... Yes, BLACK BEAN BROWNIES! I know, I had doubts too until I tried them for myself. The black beans add a ton of protein without compromising on the chocolate flavor, and they're dairy-free too! Here's the yummy recipe:
